#CT569 - IN STOCK -When Ford brought its LeMans effort to the U.S. the Kar-Kraft relationship was established. It really only had one customer: Ford Special Vehicles. The story didn't begin and end with the GT 40 that took the win at Le Mans, as Ford organized an all-out assault on racing in general. Cars were prepared for Trans-Am, NASCAR, NHRA, and Can-Am competition. Street versions of the Boss 429 were assembled under its roof, the concept Boss 302 Maverick, and Mach 2C were all assembled at Kar-Kraft race shop. And then out of the blue, its doors closed for good on a cold day in 1970. Author Charlie Henry (a former Kar-Kraft employee) enlisted the help of many former co-workers to bring you the very first book ever published on Ford's all-encompassing special projects facility, Kar-Kraft. Hardbound with 332 photographs! Free shipping & handling - if sent along with a 1:18 car (at their normal rates) or can be sent on their own for $12.95 shipping to the US48, or contact us for mailing outside of the US48. These are here in stock now.
