#50810 - In Stock - in 1/18 scale is the 1965 Super Stock Nationals winner at an event held at York, where everyone "who was anyone" in US drag racing did show up. This car (real one) truly "took it all" at this huge event, as it was the overall winner, and it's replicated right down to the "cool cartoon" on the trunk lid. This is the extremely detailed 1965 Dodge Coronet altered wheelbase AFX style "FLYING CARPET" drag car, as driven by Bobby Harrop.
Features include a lift off hood, fully wired and plumbed fuel injected 426 Hemi, accurate single seat race interior, with gauges in the dash, roll bar, a parachute pull handle, and real cloth seat belts. This very cool Mopar was produced by Die Cast Promotions / Highway 61, as a special Limited Edition made for Supercar Collectibles.
The chassis of course has the moved forward front X-member, and also a rotating driveshaft, plus real "metal" leaf springs. The trunk opens to see the large trunk mounted battery back there, complete right down to the battery cables. It is that detailed! Now check out the very cool deck lid art also replicated on this 1/18 scale Mopar AFX car...
These are decent cars, extremely desirable, and we just located ONE of these very cool cars. Want it?
