#1806502sc - IN STOCK (FREE SHIPPING to US48!) This is the YANKEE PEDDLER as driven by Bill Flynn. It's the 1st actual 1965 Dodge Sedan AWB 1:18 die cast drag car replica that has been made! Notice the "wide rear pillar" body, as sedans have never been produced as a '65 Altered Wheelbase Dodge 1/18 scale until now. Developed by Supercars President Scott Dahlberg (aka MR. MOPAR) just as ALL the 1:18th AWB Dodges and Plymouths have been.
These Altered Wheelbase cars (AWB) are 11.25" long, and extremely detailed. Has real metal hood pins, lift off hood, tall fuel injection stacks, real metal brake line from master cylinder, and the fuel tank up front on the grille.
Of the 1,050 made as a Limited Edition for Supercar Collectibles, only 954 are for distribution here in the USA. The beige single seat interior almost looks real with the seat belts, built in dash gauges, pushbutton shift, and roll bar.
These have the correct "piecrust" slicks, plus are available as a wheel/tire package including the narrow fronts (#1806502w) if you're interested. See the "parachute pull cable" inside the car? This car IS that detailed.
As long as we are talking parachute, here is a photo of the back of the car. It looks somewhat big, but that's mostly the angle of the camera. NOTE: Notice trunk lid "pins" are not installed. They ARE wrapped in a small tightly wrapped bag - taped on the white Styrofoam clamshell packaging. Be VERY careful installing them so you don't scratch the paint. China did not install them, and we have no idea why. Sorry...
In addition to a die cast body, this also has an actual metal (die cast) chassis, with the moved forward K-member, rotating driveshaft and real metal leaf springs. The super detailed engines are available separate (#1806502e). Also has opening trunk, big truck battery, and battery cables.Produced by ACME especially for us, using the Die Cast Promotions / Highway 61 tooling.
